Nora

She's a young villager from the coastal town of Greyhorn, who's been training to become a shieldmaiden ever since she was young.

One day a band of warriors of various origins came by to her hometown to deliver a message warning of a great impending doom upon their land and how they seeked to guide them to the southern kingdoms that promised to provide sanctuary.

That night, her village came under attack by a vast horde of creatures and bravely took up arms to fend them off, in the aftermath Nora along with the rest of the villagers and the band of warriors managed to survive the onslaught by now found themselves homeless and so the rest of the village gathered their belongings to make the long journey south.

And Nora soon found herself among the company of great fighters, sellswords and travelers who had much to offer and and teach about the world that lay beyond her little village..
